Still life in full motion
Vince Reichardt is a genuine expert in still life images. But perhaps not the kind of still lifes you are familiar with, paradoxically enough, there is often a strong sense of movement in Reichardt's still lifes. This sense of contradiction creates truly fascinating and timeless images that stand out from the crowd.
Reichardt works a great deal with photogram and has published a book containing some of his best images, Shadow of Lights. A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a light-sensitive material, and then exposing it to light.
Reichardt has also created two sets of stamps for the Swedish Post Office, a sure sign of his talents as a photographer. Think different, think still life and take a look at Reichardt's images.
