It is obvious that our photographer Anders Andersson used to be a journalist. He enjoys going against the grain and moving away from stereotypical images. Anders' honest depiction of everyday life with small children elicits a high degree of recognition. He lives in Halmstad but enjoys traveling the world to capture portraits, sports events, weddings and more. Right before Anders' portrait was taken, he had been crawling around in a 3,500 year old grave site in Gebel el-Silsila, Egypt to photograph excavations together with archaeologist Maria Nilsson.
We like the way Anders Andersson plays with lighting variations in his images and captures moments that feel truly genuine. His images frequently appear in magazines such as Kupé and Vision, and he is not intimidated by heights when it comes to capturing a bit more breadth and beauty in his images. In addition to his images of children, you will find images of nature, work life and more from Anders Andersson in our archives. Have a look!
